AIC - Anna Incubator invites campus innovators and emerging startups to apply. Applications are open and will close on July 26th, 2026.

Pitch Fest 2026 at AIC - Anna Incubator helps students and early-stage entrepreneurs accelerate raw ideas and lab prototypes into viable products through intensive pitching workshops and mentor guidance. Finalists present to an experienced, high-profile jury, gaining direct visibility with venture networks, funding sources, incubators, and corporate partners.

The program is open for the smartest, brightest, and most passionate innovators set to redefine the future of deep technology, defense systems, regional startups, sustainability, and other engineering verticals.

Eligibility
The Pitch Fest 2026 program is open to teams that fall under one of two tracks. Choose the one that matches your current stage and application profile.
(Early-Stage Startups)
If you have recently graduated or graduating in 2026 with a bachelor's or master's degree with early-stage innovations at the POC or prototype.
(Growth-Stage Startups)
Open exclusively to emerging startups at POC, Prototype and MVP. If your venture fits into one of these phases, apply today to accelerate your journey
Evaluation
Shortlisted teams are evaluated on innovation depth, technical feasibility, execution readiness, market relevance, and clarity of the pitch. Selected participants then move through a guided mentoring cycle before presenting to an experienced jury for final evaluation.
Applications are screened for innovation quality and fit with the program focus areas.
Shortlisted candidates undergo an immersive bootcamp to refine business models, sharpen pitches, and accelerate market readiness.
Finalists pitch live and are evaluated for incubation readiness and ecosystem impact.

If you are a student team (with an idea or a registered company), you should apply under the Campus Innovators category. If you are not a student, please apply under the Emerging Startups category.
If you are a student but your venture has a validated working prototype and active market traction or revenue (TRL 5 or above), you should apply under the Emerging Startups category. This ensures your application is evaluated against appropriate business milestones and positions you for advanced incubation and networking opportunities.
Yes. While the listed themes represent the incubator's areas of focus, they are only a preference. We welcome applications from innovators and startups with novel, impactful ideas across all domains.
No. There are no application or participation fees for Pitch Fest 2026.
Yes. You may include links to videos, demo websites, prototypes, GitHub repositories, or other relevant resources that help showcase and substantiate your application pitch deck.
Selected teams/startups will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to be considered for incubation which gives access to the startup support system offered by the incubator.
Absolutely. Technical expertise is not a prerequisite. We encourage passionate founders with strong ideas to apply, provided they are willing to learn, build, and bring the right talent into their team as needed.
Applicants should meet the applicable Technology Readiness Level (TRL) requirements as specified in the eligibility criteria. Please refer to the TRL eligibility chart provided in the application guidelines to determine whether your innovation qualifies.

No. Depending on your category and TRL, a prototype is not mandatory. Strong idea-stage innovations are also encouraged to apply.
Yes, provided each application represents a distinct innovation and is submitted separately.
Yes. Cross-institutional and interdisciplinary teams are welcome.
Applications will be assessed based on factors such as innovation, problem relevance, feasibility, market potential, scalability, team capability, and overall impact.
Shortlisted applicants will be notified via email after the evaluation process is completed.
Shortlisted teams should be prepared with a pitch deck, a product demonstration or prototype (if available), and be ready to answer questions from the jury.

Shortlisting for Pitch Fest does not automatically guarantee incubation. However, selected teams may be invited for further evaluation of incubation.
Cashprizes upto 2.5 Lakhs
No. Accommodation will not be provided by the organizers. Participants are requested to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
